What’s up with supplements?

There are so many supplements out there at the minute that claim to do all sorts of things

From FAT BURNING to MUSCLE BUILDING

But there are very few that actually do a job

Unfortunately, the supplement industry is HUGE money

One of the fastest growing industries in the world

However, there are very few supplement that have actually been PROVEN to do anything

Some of the biggest wastes of money that people buy into regularly are:

FAT BURNERS
-No such things exist or we would all be thin – At least legally and safely
BCAAS
-Research over the past few years has show that BCAAS have no impact on anything really. Often touted as a way to preserve or build muscle, but they don’t in fact have any studies to back this up (if you want an amino that does something, consider buying Leucine on its own)

THESE TWO would be the biggest waste of money that I see people buying

You could quite easily save £30-40 per month on these two supplements alone and invest that money into better food

3 SUPPLEMENTS THAT ARE PROVEN TO WORK
(not including vitamins in this)

CREATINE
-Proven to increase power, strength and muscle over a long period of time. 5g per day

BETA ALANINE
-Increases endurance, reduces fatigue, increases anaerobic capacity. 2-5g per day

CAFFEINE
-Powerful stimulant. Performance enhancer. Classed as nootropic. 200mg or strong coffee pre workout

The above supplements can cost as little as £10 per month and be much much more beneficial than any off the shelf supplements that claim to aid performance and burn fat.
